Privacy approach

Nosce is built for private expression. This notice explains what the invitation-only seed product currently collects, why it is used, which services may process it, and the controls available to you.
What the product holds
Nosce stores account information, conversations, working understandings, corrections, dreams, portrait material, and technical events needed to operate the product.
Why it is used
Your material is used to respond in the current conversation, retrieve relevant context, maintain the understanding you can inspect, and form dreams under a separate contract.
AI processing
Relevant conversation and memory context may be sent to configured AI providers to generate a response or product artifact. Nosce does not currently train its own model on seed-user content. This does not replace the policies that govern processing by each third-party API provider.
Product analytics
When PostHog is configured, Nosce records limited product-usage and technical events to understand whether key flows work. Custom analytics do not include your email address, conversation text, dream content, corrections, or portrait text. Automatic page capture and session recording are disabled in the current configuration.
Your control
The product includes controls to inspect, correct, hide, restore, export, and delete supported data. Dream content is kept separate from reality-layer understanding.
Service providers
Nosce uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for authentication and product data storage. DeepSeek is the primary AI provider; Anthropic Claude and Moonshot Kimi may process content when their configured capabilities or fallback paths are used. Those providers process data under their own terms and policies.
Retention
Product content is kept while your seed account remains active unless you delete it through supported controls. Operational backups and provider logs may follow the relevant provider's retention schedule. Exact third-party retention can change with configuration and provider terms.
Security and boundaries
Nosce uses account access controls and service-provider safeguards appropriate to the current seed stage, but no online service can promise absolute security. Dreams remain separate from reality-layer understandings and are not used as factual evidence about you.
