Nosce Terms of Service
By actively checking the boxes and completing email verification, you enter this agreement electronically with the Nosce operator. Pay particular attention to AI limits, third-party providers, cross-border processing, and liability.
Pre-launch legal draft: the registered sole-proprietor details and privacy email must be completed, and a personal-information impact assessment, lawful cross-border mechanism, and lawyer review must be completed before production use.
1. Parties and formation

This agreement is formed when you actively accept it at sign-in and verify your identity by email code. You confirm you are at least 18 and have legal capacity. Until the registered operator details are complete, this page is only for development review.
2. Service
Nosce is a generative-AI long-term self-understanding tool offering conversation, history retrieval, working understandings, corrections, reflections, portraits, profile, export, and deletion. Available functions are those actually shown.
The current service may still be experimental. Nosce may change or pause functions for maintenance, security, compliance, or product reasons, while continuing to handle existing data and obligations lawfully.
3. Not medical or professional care
Nosce is not counseling, psychotherapy, medical diagnosis, crisis intervention, legal, financial, or another licensed professional service. Output cannot replace a qualified professional or serve as a basis for diagnosis, treatment, medication, or emergency action.
If there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or another person, stop relying on the product and contact local emergency services, police, a trusted person, or a qualified professional.
4. AI output and judgment
AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, overly broad, or unsuitable. Nosce understandings and portraits are inspectable, correctable working hypotheses—not factual determinations of identity, personality, health, or future.
Nosce displays an “AI-generated” label in the relevant interface or attribution. Exports containing AI content include a notice, service-provider name, and content identifier. If you publish generated content, retain and actively disclose its AI-generated status and do not maliciously remove, alter, forge, or conceal the label.
Use independent judgment and do not rely solely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, personal-safety, or other high-risk decisions.
5. Third-party services and availability
Nosce depends on Vercel, Supabase, PostHog, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. Their regions, data, and roles are described in the Privacy Policy, Generative AI Service Notice, and Cross-border Personal Information Rules. Provider failures, network interruption, policy changes, or API changes may degrade or interrupt service.
DeepSeek is primary inference; Kimi is used only for program-defined infrastructure-failure recovery. Nosce does not describe that fallback as a nonexistent mainland deployment or promise permanent availability of any model.
6. Account security
Use an email account you control. Do not transfer the account, impersonate another person, access another user's data, or bypass controls. Sign out and contact the operator if access appears abnormal. Risk from voluntarily disclosing a code or sharing a device is allocated under law and each party's fault.
7. Your content and limited authorization
You retain rights the law grants in material you enter. To provide selected functions, you authorize Nosce during the service term to store, copy, analyze, generate from, index, retrieve, transmit, and display necessary material. This is limited to providing, maintaining, securing, and improving concrete product functions and does not transfer ownership.
Do not enter another person's private information, trade secrets, unlawful material, or third-party content you have no right to process. Ensure a lawful basis before providing another person's information.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Nosce for unlawful harmful content, infringement, fraud, harassment, discrimination, violence, system attacks, bulk scraping, bypassing safeguards, or high-risk automated decisions about another person. Nosce may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate unlawful or abusive use as allowed by law.
9. Exit, suspension, and termination
You may sign out, delete product data, or cancel the account at any time. Cancellation terminates the service relationship and data is handled under the Privacy Policy.
Maintenance, security risk, force majeure, provider failure, or legal duties may interrupt service. Serious breach or harm to the system or others may lead to restriction or termination, with reasons and appeal where applicable.
10. Liability
Nosce remains responsible where law requires. This agreement does not exclude mandatory consumer, personal-injury, or personal-information rights or liability.
Loss caused by breach, disregard of explicit risk warnings, high-risk reliance on AI output, third-party force majeure, or events outside reasonable control is allocated under applicable law and each party's fault. Risk disclosure does not waive Nosce's statutory duties.
11. Changes
Nosce displays the current version. Material changes to rights or duties are highlighted and accepted again when law or a changed processing basis requires it. You may stop using and cancel the account if you disagree.
12. Law, disputes, and contact
Mainland Chinese law applies. The parties should first contact rui@nosce.life to negotiate. If unresolved, either party may bring proceedings in a court with lawful jurisdiction.
If another-language version conflicts with the Chinese version, the Chinese version controls.
